On Friday morning, three grade seven girls were followed at around 8:10 a.m. by a man from a building parking lot on Indian Road, through a pathway that connects Crestview School to Breckenridge Drive in Kitchener. Mrs. Roberts noticed the man following the three girls along the pathway and immediately went over to the girls, creating a diversion. The man ran away and she walked the girls over to Stanley Park.  Saturday’s Record mistakenly reported this incident as happening to Crestview students.

This morning, three of our students reported seeing a suspicious person on their way to Crestview.  They described a white man in a dark coat and pants.  Parents and police have been notified.  We would encourage you to remind your children about street safety as they are walking in the community.
